WICWIC

WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) offers nutrition education and checks for nutritious foods to pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants, and children under five years of age who are low income and nutritionally at-risk. Registered dietitians evaluate to determine nutritional needs. We staff full-time clinics in Manhattan at the Child and Family Resource Center, 2101 Claflin Rd and in Fort Riley at the Soldier and Family Support Building #7264 on Normandy Drive. WIC staff also travel monthly to clinics in Pottawatomie County - in St. Marys at 205 North 7th Streeet in the United Methodist Church and in Wamego at 1911 Grandview in the First Baptist Church. To make an appointment or find out more about the WIC programs at the Manhattan or Pottawatomie County sites call 785-776-4779 extension 124 and for Fort Riley appointments or information call 785-239-5730 or 785-239-5748.
